Channing Tatum continues to share updates on his recovery from shoulder surgery, which he first shared about in February 2026. He took to social media to share a video, revealing that it has been a tough period for him, but he’s starting to feel some positivity and has been doing well mentally. He also mentioned that he has regained some shoulder mobility and has been cleared by his doctor to resume training for his upcoming movie.

Tatum shared a video on social media to provide an update on his shoulder surgery. In the clip, he revealed that it’s finally a good day as the surgery period has been challenging for him mentally. He said that he has been “mentally up and down in my head” more than ever before in his life. Moreover, he also showcased the scar on his shoulder, which was a bit less noticeable, revealing that it’s been healing gradually.

He further said, “I’m getting some mobility back. It’s atrophied so much though. I feel like a toddler in the gym.” He mentioned that the doctors have also greenlit him to resume training for his upcoming movie, Isle of Man TT motorcycle race. “It’s gonna be a grind. Wish me some luck,” he added. He revealed in the caption that he has six weeks before the filming commences.

He further wrote, “This one has been the lowest of the lows. But starting to come out the other side. Feeling better than I have in months mentally.”

Tatum first shared about his shoulder injury on February 4 on Instagram. Sporting the hospital clothes, he seemed to be sitting on the operating table, which sparked concerns among fans about his condition. He wrote in the caption, “Just another day. Another challenge. This one is gonna be hard. But whatever. Let’s get it in.” While he didn’t reveal how the injury happened, a source told TMZ that it was because of a skiing incident at Sundance.
