The countdown to Giannina Gibelli and Blake Horstmann's wedding day is on.

The couple revealed on Monday, June 1, in a joint Instagram post — simply captioned "one step closer 💒" — that they obtained their marriage license in Colorado ahead of their upcoming wedding.

"We're now one step closer to being husband and wife," Horstmann, 37, said in the reel.

Gibelli, 33, explained in a voiceover that although they picked up their marriage license, they left it unsigned so they're not legally married just yet.

She elaborated on her Instagram Stories, "We honestly had no idea what we were doing, if we were getting married today or not, but we were able to leave with the license unsigned and we can have the signing ceremony at the wedding like I always pictured so I'm very happy about this!"

The couple, who got engaged on Oct. 30, 2024, went all out for the "really sweet day," with Horstmann even renting a dark McLaren convertible with dihedral doors from Drive Colorado Exotic Rentals.

"Blake rented this sickkk McLaren cause our courthouse was a bit ways from our house and we didn't bring [our 2-year-old son] Heath so we made a drive out of it and looped through the mountains it was SO. much. fun!" Gibelli wrote on her Instagram Stories.

Horstmann added in the reel, "I've never driven a McLaren before, but man, it was worth every penny. We had so much fun. Top down, flying on the interstate. May have hit 100 [mph]."

The Bachelorette and Bachelor in Paradise alum gushed that his fiancée looked "cute as hell." The soon-to-be bride and groom matched in white outfits, with Gibelli wearing a satin minidress and a sheer bridal cape.

Gibelli explained that they wanted it to feel like "an us day," and by the end, they did "exactly that" because they "really bonded" as a couple.

"Next stop, the altar!" the Love Is Blind alum said.

Earlier this year, Gibelli revealed that the couple will have a wedding in Europe so that they can get more bang for their budget because they're paying for the celebration "100%" themselves.

"I did all the research imaginable, and I found the most beautiful, gorgeous venue," she said during the Feb. 2 episode of Jason Tartick's money-minded podcast Trading Secrets. "I found people who are willing to work with us, and I'm getting just like this banger of a wedding for probably a little less than half of what you would get in the States."
