Kim Kardashian is speaking out about her admiration for Taylor Swift’s music almost two years after the release of “thanK you aIMee,” a diss track off the singer-songwriter’s album The Tortured Poets Department that’s widely speculated to be about her.

The All’s Fair actress was asked by her sister KhloĂ© Kardashian about her eclectic music taste during a recent episode of her KhloĂ© in Wonder Land podcast.

“Do you think people would be surprised you listen to Taylor Swift?” KhloĂ© asked the Skims founder. To which Kim simply replied, “I think I’ve said it.”

She continued, “Yeah, I mean, it’s just — I have some of her older songs in my playlist. I’ve always thought she’s like a super talented great artist.”

Representatives for Swift did not immediately respond to Entertainment Weekly’s request for comment.

Kim was infamously involved in the dramatic feud that unfolded between Swift and Kanye “Ye” West surrounding his song “Famous” back in 2016. At the time, Swift alleged that West didn’t notify her that his track would name-drop her alongside the line: “I made that bitch famous.”

The rapper later claimed that he’d had “a hourlong convo with her about the line and she thought it was funny and gave her blessings.” Kim, who was married to West at the time, later posted a portion of their phone call that appeared to discredit Swift’s claims on her Snapchat account.

Swift appeared to address the incident on her 2017 album Reputation, and may have revisited it on The Tortured Poets Department tracks like “thanK you aIMee” and “Cassandra.”

The former, in particular, seemed to take direct aim at the reality star, with the letters capitalized in its title literally spelling out her name “Kim.” The song tells the story of a hometown bully named Aimee who ruined the protagonist’s life, but also made her stronger along the way.

“I wrote a thousand songs that you find uncool / I built a legacy that you can't undo,” Swift sings on the track. “But when I count the scars, there's a moment of truth / That there wouldn't be this if there hadn't been you.”

It also mentions a moment in which “your kid comes home singing / a song that only us two is gonna know is about you.” In recent years, Kim has confessed to being a fan of Swift's music, and she and daughter North West have even posted videos of themselves singing and dancing to Swift’s songs on social media.

Following the release of the track, a source told PEOPLE that Kim was "over" their drama and "thinks that Taylor should move on." They noted that the Kardashians star "doesn’t get why [Swift] keeps harping on it,” adding, "It’s been literally years.”

The alleged full version of Swift and West's phone call was eventually leaked in 2020. In an Instagram Story at the time, the “Cruel Summer” singer wrote that it proved she was "telling the truth the whole time" about the conversation and "somebody" had "edited and manipulated [it] in order to frame me and put me, my family, and fans through hell for 4 years."

Swift may have explored the public reaction to the feud — and taken another shot at Kim along the way — on the TTPD song "Cassandra." In it, Swift evokes the titular Trojan priestess, who was tragically given the gift of prophecy and yet no one believes her. The song sees Swift sing about being trapped in a cell filled with snakes, which many have interpreted to be a nod to Kim.

Back in 2016, Kim made a dig at Swift by posting about National Snake Day just hours before she dropped the aforementioned call on her Snapchat. The Grammy-winning artist later reclaimed the slithering serpent as one of the key visual elements of her follow-up album, Reputation.
