Taylor Swift's got a friend in Patrick Mahomes!
The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback, 30, showed his support for the pop superstar, 36, on his social media after she announced the news of her upcoming original song, "I Knew It, I Knew You," for Toy Story 5 to her Instagram on Monday, June 1.
Mahomes simply reshared Swift's announcement post to his Instagram Stories shortly after she uploaded it. The "Fate of Ophelia" singer posted a roundup of images, while the Chiefs QB opted to share a shot of the film's title and its notable characters, Buzz Lightyear, Woody and Jessie.
Swift's Instagram carousel, which also included photos of her lying in the grass surrounded by flowers and other imagery from the hit toy-centric franchise, was paired with a lengthy caption that explained the original song, its origin, release date and more.
"It's a *Toy* Story 🤠 You knew it! My new original song 'I Knew It, I Knew You' for Disney and @pixar's @toystory 5 will be yours on June 5th. I've always dreamed of getting to write for these characters who I've adored since I was a 5 year old kid watching the first Toy Story movie," she began.
"I fell instantly in love with Toy Story 5 when I was lucky enough to see it in its early stages, and I wrote this song as soon as I got home from the screening," she continued. "Sometimes you just know, right?"
Swift concluded her caption, "You can pre-order now exclusively on my site and catch Toy Story 5 in theaters June 19th."
Mahomes' wife, Brittany, also shared the exciting news on her Instagram Stories.

Surely the Toy Story franchise is popular in the Mahomes house, as the NFL couple shares three kids: daughters Sterling, 5, and Golden, 1, and 3-year-old son Bronze.
In fact, the parents took their children to Toy Story Land at Disney's Hollywood Studios inside the Walt Disney World Resort during the NFL offseason in April 2025.
Brittany shared the fun-filled photos with her family on her Instagram, writing, "The best trip with our besties🥹🤍."

Days prior to Swift's announcement, fans suspected her involvement in the latest Toy Story installment after Pixar put up billboards in cities including Chicago, Los Angeles, London and more.
Pixar also shared an Instagram video featuring Jessie's character dancing in front of one of the billboards teasing the upcoming film.
Toy Story 5 is due in theaters Friday, June 19, which is also the anniversary of the release of Swift's debut single, "Tim McGraw."
Swift and Mahomes' teammate, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, are expected to tie the knot this summer.
