Chris Noth said that Sarah Jessica Parker ended their friendship after he was accused of sexual assault.

The Sex and the City actor said that Parker's statement about the allegations was "sad," "disappointing," and "surprising."

Noth had hoped that Parker would reach out to him: "Give me a call so I can give you the real scoop about this."

Chris Noth is not on speaking terms with Sarah Jessica Parker.

The Good Wife star, who portrayed Carrie Bradshaw's primary love interest Mr. Big on Sex and the City, explained that the Emmy-winning actress ended their friendship after he was accused of sexual assault during an interview with Really Famous With Kara Mayer Robinson.

"We're not friends, I think that's pretty obvious," Noth said in a clip from the interview published by PEOPLE, citing Parker's joint statement with her And Just Like That costars Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis.

"The statement that they put out — which was nothing more than brand management, really — I don't know, it was sad, it was disappointing, it was surprising, because you need to call me and hear my side of this," Noth said. "And you've known me for many years, and we've worked [together] for many years. And that didn't happen."

A representative for Parker did not immediately respond to Entertainment Weekly's request for comment.

Two women accused Noth of sexually assaulting them in 2004 and 2015, respectively, in a THR report in December 2021. Another woman accused him of sexual misconduct less than a week later, and shortly thereafter, musician Lisa Gentile also alleged that Noth sexually assaulted her in 2002.

Noth repeatedly denied all of the allegations against him. "It's a salacious story, but it's just not a true one," he said in a USA Today interview in which he admitted to extramarital sexual encounters but maintained that they were all consensual. "And I can't just say 'Well, OK, that's it for me' because of that. I'm an actor. I have other things that I want to do creatively."

Parker, Nixon, and Davis released their joint statement after the first three women's accusations were publicized.

"We are deeply saddened to hear the allegations against Chris Noth," the actresses said at the time. "We support the women who have come forward and shared their painful experiences. We know it must be a very difficult thing to do and we commend them for it."

In his conversation with Kara Mayer Robinson, Noth said that he recognized why Parker and her costars released the statement.

"I get it, that's more Hollywood than Hollywood," he said. "But before you make that statement, you know me, you’ve known me all these years, give me a call so I can give you the real scoop about this. And that didn't happen, and that was too bad."

However, Noth said that the experience provided valuable insight into his personal relationships. "What's gained is good," he said. "You know where people stand and you know who your real friends are and who they're not. That's important to know."

Noth also said that if the situation was reversed, he would have wanted to hear the accused's recollection of the situation before casting judgment. "What's going on? Tell me what happened. Tell me your side," he said. "That was hurtful, and it really affected everything."

Noth recently made headlines after he endorsed a comment criticizing Parker on his Instagram account.

"You mean f--- sjp & her award right? lol," the fan wrote.

"Right," Noth responded.

The actor later told his followers not to make such a hubbub out of a simple comment.

"My off the cuff slightly sarcastic response to a comment on the internet seems to have caused a tempest in a teapot," Noth wrote in a later Instagram post. "It is not news. It is not worth all this discussion. It is a waste of time in a world where there are more important things to worry about."
