The so-called "conformity gate" theory may not be real, but fans of "Stranger Things" don't have to say goodbye to the hit series just yet.
Netflix is releasing a new documentary that shows the making of the beloved show's final season, which aired its finale on Dec. 31.
"One Last Adventure: The Making of Stranger Things 5" follows the show's cast, creators and crew behind the scenes during the making of Season 5, according to Netflix.
The documentary's trailer teases interviews with the show's creators, Matt and Ross Duffer, as they share emotional on-set moments and highlights of the show's cast.
In the weeks since the show's finale dropped, some fans online have voiced their dissatisfaction with its conclusion, even spreading conspiracy theories about a nonexistent possible bonus episode.
But between the impending documentary and at least two separate spin-offs in the works, Hawkins, Indiana, will be just a few clicks away.

'Stranger Things' documentary release date, time
The documentary on "Stranger Things" Season 5 will be released on Jan. 12 at 3 a.m. ET.
"One Last Adventure: The Making of Stranger Things 5" comes less than two weeks after the "Stranger Things" Season 5 finale aired.
The show, which ran for nine years, aired its final season in three installments, released on Nov. 26, 2025 (Episodes 1-4), Dec. 25, 2025 (Episodes 5-7) and Dec. 31, 2025 (Episode 8).

Like the series, the "One Last Adventure: The Making of Stranger Things 5" documentary will be available to watch on Netflix.
