A new season of *The Masked Singer* is now in full swing with secret celebrity singers being unveiled each week.

Season 14 kicked off on Wednesday with the latest group of masked celebs taking the stage in front of panelists Ken Jeong, Robin Thicke, Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg, and Rita Ora, plus host Nick Cannon. However, the first unmasking came before the episode had even begun.

For the first time ever, a celebrity revealed themself to viewers before being eliminated on the show. Last month, Ora's *Descendants* costar Kylie Cantrall announced she is competing on the season. It was then revealed during the first episode (to the home audience only) that she is singing under the Cat Witch mask.

Other masked contestants this season include Pugcasso, 14 Karat Carrot, Queen Corgi, Croissants, Scarab, Snow Cone, Galaxy Girl, High Voltage, Eggplant, Owl, Calla Lily, Le Who Who, Stingray, Pangolin, Handyman, and Crane, all vying to succeed *The Masked Singer *season 13 champion Pearl, who was revealed as Grammy-winning country singer Gretchen Wilson.

So far, already out of the running are Googly Eyes, revealed in the season premiere to be baseball great David Ortiz, a.k.a. "Big Papi," the Croissants, who were eliminated in an episode 1 cliffhanger and revealed the following week, Le Who Who who had a hilarious fake fit after being sent home on week 2, and Handyman and Scarab who went home as part of week 3's double elimination.**

The other mask to go in Jan. 21's double-elimination episode was shockingly Scarab, heralded as one of the most decorated celebs in *Masked Singer* history. After years spent incorrectly guessing her name as various contestants, Scarab was revealed to be Golden Globe-winning, Oscar-, Emmy-, and Tony-nominated actress Taraji P. Henson in the flesh.

In Henson's exit interview with EW, she explained her name on every panelists' lips was exactly why she did the show: "I heard about them guessing me every year, and I was like, well, let me just give the people what they've been asking for."

Handyman revealed as Tone Lōc

Le Who Who revealed as Tiffany Haddish

The highly-spirited Le Who Who was sadly eliminated at the end of the Jan. 14 episode, but she didn't go down without a fight. After collapsing on the ground in a hilarious tantrum at host Nick Cannon's feet, the contestant was finally unmasked to reveal Emmy-winner comedian Tiffany Haddish.**

In Haddish's exit interview with EW, the actress explained why she kept flashing her undies onstage during the show: "When I tried it on the first time, I was like, 'This is so cute, but she don't have no panties.'...And they made her some panties. And I was like, 'These are so cute! I got to show everybody my panties. Everybody has to see how cute these panties are.' And when I put the costume on, I felt like a kid again. I felt so young. It made me feel young again. So then I kind of was reverting back to kindergarten Tiff, who every time she got to wear pretty ruffled panties, I had to show everybody like, 'You got to see these panties I have on, look!'"

The Croissants revealed as Julie and Todd Chrisley

After being eliminated in a cliffhanger ending to the season premiere, the Croissants were unmasked at the beginning of the Jan. 14 episode, revealing *Chrisley Knows Best* stars and newly-released inmates Todd and Julie Chrisley.

In their exit interview with EW, the couple says they were not quite on the same page about competing: "Todd is the singer. So he has a great voice," Julie tells EW. "Me, I am not musically inclined at all. So to say that I was nervous is an understatement. But we kind of decided together. I mean, he says I decided because I was kind of on the fence. Do we do it or do we not do it? But I'm so glad we did."

Googly Eyes revealed as David Ortiz
