Niall Horan may have unintentionally stirred speculation among Swifties during a recent interview. While promoting his upcoming fourth solo album Dinner Party on Vancouver’s Z Mornings with Katie & Ed, the former One Direction member fielded a seemingly routine question about upcoming weddings in his schedule this year, offering a response that was just vague enough to spark conversation.

As a self-proclaimed Swiftie, she directly brought up the possibility of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce tying the knot.

Horan didn’t confirm anything, but he didn’t exactly shut it down either. “I’ve been invited to a few weddings, yes,” he said, laughing off the speculation before playfully brushing off the line of questioning. Pressed further, he kept things deliberately unclear, “Yes, I’m going to some weddings. We’ll see which ones I’m free for, I don’t know.”

The idea that Horan could be on the guest list isn’t far-fetched. He and Swift go way back. Their friendship dates to the early 2010s, when Horan was still part of One Direction, and Swift was briefly dating his bandmate Harry Styles between 2012 and 2013. Over the years, the two have maintained an easy rapport, often crossing paths at industry events.

In 2018, Horan even joined Swift onstage during her Reputation Stadium Tour in London, performing his hit “Slow Hands” alongside her. He also paid tribute in his own way, sharing a cover of her song “Cardigan” from the folklore era on TikTok in 2022.

Speculation surrounding a potential wedding between Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce has been building quietly for months. According to earlier reports, if and when the couple moves forward with their plans, they are unlikely to stage a headline-grabbing spectacle.
