Titanique is officially setting course for Broadway, and audiences will be laughing all the way to the lifeboats!

Following acclaimed, sold-out productions Off-Broadway, in London's West End and nine cities worldwide, the parody musical — which hilariously reimagines the 1997 film Titanic through the music and perspective of Céline Dion — will dock on Broadway this spring for a 16-week limited engagement at the St. James Theatre in New York City.

Co-created by Marla Mindelle and Constantine Rousouli, the Olivier Award-winning comedy will begin performances on March 26, 2026, with opening night set for April 12. The production, produced by Tony Award winner Eva Price, will run through July 12.

Mindelle is set to play Dion again, the originated Off-Broadway. Further casting will be announced at a later date.

Tye Blue, who co-wrote and co-created the show alongside Mindelle and Rousouli, will once again direct.

Powered entirely by Dion’s chart-topping hits, Titanique offers a gleefully unhinged retelling of the Oscar-winning film, with Céline herself stepping in to reveal what really happened to Jack and Rose on that fateful night. Songs include "Because You Loved Me," "All By Myself," "I'm Alive," "to Love You More," "Taking Chances," and of course, "My Heart Will Go On" — all performed with a full live band and unapologetic camp with jokes that hit harder than an iceberg.

Ahead of the Broadway launch, PEOPLE can exclusively premiere a teaser clip from the production that puts a Dion-sized twist on one of Titanic’s most iconic moments.

In the scene, Mindelle’s Céline recreates Rose’s grand first arrival, stepping out of the car in her signature style and gazing up at the ship — only this time, it’s Dion who’s ready to take control of the story.

"I told you I would never let go," she says, quoting one of the film's most iconic lines.

Titanique's Broadway run marks the latest milestone for a show that began as a buzzy, underground delight. And for Rousouli, bringing the show to the boards after nearly a decade feels surreal.

"After nearly 10 years of steering Titanique through more icebergs than anyone should survive, bringing her to Broadway feels absolutely unreal," he tells PEOPLE. "What started as a tipsy idea in a bar—and a whole lot of frantic runs to JoAnn Fabrics for costumes, and Party City for wigs—somehow Titanique became a global, award-winning fan favorite, from a hot glue gun and a dream! Seeing her finally land on Broadway feels like standing on the bow of the ship: overwhelmed, grateful, and screaming, 'I'M FINALLY THE KING OF THE WORLD!' "

Mindelle echoes that disbelief, reflecting on how far the show has come since its early days.

"Near… far… wherever you are in TIMES SQUARE, girlfriends!" she says. "From performing in basements with rats, to having my face plastered on trash cans, I always thought Titanique would remain our scrappy little Off-Broadway underdog. But Titanique has never stopped surprising me. This past year alone, I followed the show to Paris, Canada, Brazil, and London — where we won an Olivier Award. And now, in a glorious victory lap, we’re heading to Broadway — proof that if you dream big enough, sing high enough, and simply refuse to die, eventually someone will give you a theatre!"

Since first opening Off-Broadway in 2022, Titanique has won seven major awards, including the Lucille Lortel Award and Off-Broadway Alliance Award for Best New Musical, along with a Lortel Award for Outstanding Lead Performer for Mindelle. International productions have since launched in London’s West End, Sydney, Toronto, Montréal, Chicago, Paris and São Paulo, further cementing its cult status.

Released in 1997, James Cameron’s Titanic became a pop culture juggernaut, blending sweeping romance with historical tragedy through the love story of Jack and Rose aboard the doomed RMS Titanic. The film won 11 Academy Awards, including Best Picture, and helped turn Dion’s "My Heart Will Go On" into an instant classic — making it ripe for the kind of affectionate, over-the-top reimagining that Titanique delivers.

Tickets to Titanique will be available to the general public starting Monday, Jan. 12, 2026. A Broadway presale begins Thursday, Jan. 8.
